Hey Scott, how did the new Necky's work out for you this summer, maneuverability, tracking etc? There is a sport shop in town that is going to expand this winter and start carrying Necky brand kayaks come spring.

Correct on the brand and model, we also got Werner "Camano" carbon fibre shafted fibreglass paddles and Mustang "MD3183" inflatable PFD's with automatic hydrostatic inflation and spray skirts but I can't think of the brand.

Hey Scott, have you been out paddling much this season? Have any photos you would like to share yet?

I will be paddling out to Rattlesnake Island this weekend. I am planning to photo and video as much of my trip as possible and post my trip here. Weather looks good for the weekend.

Have a good one!

Hi Scott
Glad to have you here! I used to canoe until I got my first kayak, absolutely loved it I won't go back to the canoe now. I have a tandem kayak that I paddle solo most of the time and use it for longer trips and camping. I am sure you will enjoy the kayak when you get it!

Welcome to the GTL community KAYAK Okanagan, if you have any questions feel free to leave a message in one of the many areas on the site, myself or someone on site will be sure to answer it.

Have a great day, and again thanks for joining the site and am looking forward to seeing your input in the various data bases.
